Harry Potter Statistics

Today I am going to go out of the norm. I promise to post a normal post tomorrow but today is dedicated to that boy who lived. You know the one. He has unruly hair, glasses, and that famous lightning bolt scar. That's right I am talking about Harry Potter. I finally finished re-reading the series. Along the way I kept tabs on my progress. So here are my notes.

1. Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone: Started May 26, 2009 Ended June 1, 2009. Average pages read: 54 pages/day

2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Started June 1, 2009 Ended June 5, 2009. Average pages read: 68 pages/day

3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Started June 5, 2009 Ended June 9, 2009. Average pages read: 109 pages/day

4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Started June 9, 2009 Ended June 22, 2009. Average pages read: 53 pages/day

5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Started June 22, 2009 Ended July 4, 2009. Average pages read: 67 pages/day

6. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Started July 4, 2009 Ended July 10, 2009. Average pages read: 93 pages/day

7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Started July 10, 2009 Ended July 24, 2009. Average pages read: 51 pages/day

Finally the whole series is 4,287 pages long (The pages from the books I read added together. This count varies depending on the different editions of books. ) It took me 60 days to read the series which means that I read on average 71 pages/day.
