I'm back again...

Ok so this whole self-discipline thing is something I really need to work on. I guess it is a weakness I have. Well anyways here is the revised version of the poem I posted like almost a month ago. Better late than never...right?

The Bird's Song (Revised)

A little bird perches on a tree limb.
It's brilliant colors arrayed all over it's feathers.
Green and yellow and al the shades in between.
So simple, so serene, it begins to
sing.

The bird's little melody fills the air.
It carries over the rushing river,
Through the gentle breeze that brushes past my face.
It sings.

The song's melody is so sweet.
I wish I knew the words, but I know that
I can still hum along.
We sing.

Oh, how I love to hear the bird's song.
It makes this beautiful day even better.
So I sit and listen to the bird
Sing.

The Music Plays

The music plays, do  you hear it, can you hear it?
The hammers in the piano hit the strings.
The musicians fingers hit the keys. Do you see them?
The music plays, do you hear it, can you hear it?

How does he do it? You hear the music.
He plays softly, he plays quickly, he plays well.
The musicians fingers hit the keys. Do you see them?
The music plays, do you hear it, can you hear it?

The singers sing their song in unison with the piano.
The music and song joined to create beauty.
I can't sit still, I want to get up and dance.
The music plays, do you hear it, can you hear it?

The singers, the pianist, the music!
The music is getting better with each key hit.
Each key hit by each instrument of music.
The music plays, do you hear it, can you hear it?

Well until next time. Maybe it will be soon. Cross your fingers.
